Shakun Batra's 'Kapoor & Sons (Since 1921), starring Sidharth
Malhotra, Fawad Khan, Alia Bhatt and Rishi Kapoor in the lead roles,
opened at the box-office with earnings of Rs 6.50 crore and had got hit
by India and Pakistan's cricket match on its second da. However, it saw a
good Sunday with business likely to be around the 11 crore nett. The
film has taken a huge jump of around 50% from Saturday. With this, the
weekend business is around 24.75 crore nett which is an average weekend
as first two days were not too good but the Sunday really gives the film
a good chance now.
